StyleWeek Runway 2.2.13

The footwear was designed after the idea of sealife. Keeping with the idea of ture Delerium, the texture is a representation of coral and the feeling of encrusted pearls. The Vinyl pieces are a representation of sea plant life and the movement of water. The shoes as a whole are designed to give a delirious take on contemporary organics with a splash of Pop.

Footwear

The imagery of Delerium was inspired by drag culture and that feeling of not knowing if you are awake or asleep. Total Glam, Pop, Fierceness meets clean and bright modernity.

GroundArts Home Exhibition

The “Home” Exhibition is a collaboration between Ground Arts and Art Start. The mission is to encourage dialogue between the creative works of Art Start students and established artists.  The proceeds from the “Home” exhibition will go to Art Start.
Ground Arts is encouraging artists to interpret and create a piece of artwork that is inspired by their concept of “Home”, to be included in the exhibition. The exhibition on March 7th, 2013 involved a great community of artists and students. My piece "Truely Delerious" represents my view on home being understanding and discovering one's true inner self. The mind can be a delirious place but regardless, it is where home is.
